Why has no one adopted Ricky Bobbie?!😥
Ricky Bobbie has been at our shelter for over a month, with very little interest. It just breaks our heart to see such a loveable, playful, Coonhound sitting in a shelter.
Ricky Bobbie was found running as a stray in Amherst County. We have no idea where he came from, or any previous history. When he was found he was severely underweight with his ribs and spine showing. Since being at our facility, he has put on a healthy 15 pounds.😋
Ricky Bobbie is just like any other hound; he just wants to run, follow his nose and be around other dogs/people. He does amazing with kids, even small ones. He likes to play rough with other dogs, but listens to the other dog if he is being too forward.
Ricky would do best in a home that has a moderately active lifestyle, as hounds have lots of spunk and inquisitive energy to release. He goes crazy for squeaky toys and is a social butterfly. His beautiful markings and long soft ears gets him lots of attention wherever he goes.
Ricky is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines/preventatives. He weighs 60 lbs. and is estimated to be 2-4 years old.
